Be sure to store your jewelry individually protected from light in its original packaging to avoid friction with other parts
Take it off when sleeping and during physical activity

Regularly rub your jewelry with a small chamois or soft cloth

In case you have come to this point, there are commercial cleaners that can help you like baking soda paste. To avoid it, just apply the few rules above.
However, you will need to remove your steel jewelry if you handle household products, as they can attack the metal.
Does stainless steel change color?
The change in color of this material is due to oxidation. Steel is more or less sensitive to it, depending on its composition. Darkening is therefore possible, but it will take place over several years. Note that a skin with high acidity will promote darkening of the stainless steel.
Does stainless steel jewelry rust?

How to clean blackened steel?
Clean your steel jewelry with a small amount of toothpaste applied to a toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. You can also rub it with a cloth dampened with a few drops of white alcohol vinegar or lemon juice diluted with a little water.

a mixture of hot water and baking soda;
Marseille soap or;
dishwashing liquid.
After cleaning your stainless steel jewelry, take the time to rinse it well and dry it thoroughly.
The finishing coat of gold or pink stainless steel jewelry will not withstand acidic solutions. So avoid lemon juice, vinegar or toothpaste on colored steel.
